In 2002 he was approached to lead the new BSc (Hons) Herbal Medicine starting at the University of Lincoln. He continued to lead the BSc when it moved to Lincoln College in 2010 and in 2019 he also set up an MSc in Herbal Therapeutics. His first book "The Handbook of Constitutional and Energetic Herbal Medicine: The Lotus Within" was published in 2020. "His light has gone out in the herbal medicine world long before his time." "Andrew was such a benevolent soul: a healer in all of the ways". "He was an extraordinary man and I'm very proud to have known him, and I hope you can find some comfort in knowing the profound impact that Andrew had on so many people, both his patients and his students." "...we should aim to leave the world a better place for us having been in it. Not many of us can lay claim to that, but Andrew was right up there." Andrew leaves his artist wife Lesley and their three children, Alice, a midwife; Luke, a psychotherapist; and Toby, a software engineer, who is also studying herbal medicine. A private, green burial was held at Norton Disney Big Wood, Hill Holt, for immediate family only. Donations (if desired) to Hill Holt Wood Charity (Tel: 01636 892836). Lesley Stableford
