Ted Streeter
Added by Ted Platts
I knew Ted as a Norfolk keeper, many of us knew him as Pampas Ted due to his enthusiastic use of Pampas Grass as cover for his beloved Wild Grey Partridges. He was kind and generous with his unrivalled experience and knowledge and was always unassuming in his manner. May he Rest in Peace.

I remember as a child going to Aunty Joyce (nee Coney) and Uncle Ted's wedding in Fulbeck and then as a teenager staying with them in Norfolk on the Barsham Estate where Ted was head gamekeeper. Our family enjoyed listening to his stories of life on the game farm and the people he met. He won the Gamekeeper of the Year in 2003 appearing on the Front cover of the Farmer Weekly. A dedicated and loyal man who had quite a remarkable life, will be sadly missed.
