Linda LouiseTHOMASNée Foley Linda passed away at home after a long illness on Friday 3rd September aged 71 with loving husband George by her side. Beloved wife of George, Linda was also loved and will be sadly missed by her sons, brothers, sisters, grandchildren, relatives and friends. You were loved beyond words and will be forever in our hearts. The funeral service will take place at St Michael's All Angels Church in Norton on Tuesday 21st September at 12.30, prior to interment in Durham Road, Cemetery then afterwards at the Malleable Club. Resting at Crake and Mallon on Norton Road Tel: 01642 611716. Remember Me. To the living, I am gone, To the sorrowful, I will never return, To the angry, I was cheated, But to the happy, I am at peace, And to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon a shore gazing at a beautiful sea, As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity, Remember me. Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, and your memories, of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will never have gone. Will be very sadly missed by your Loving Husband George x x x She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She's the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She's the cool hand on your brow when you are not feeling well. She's your breath in the air on a cold winters day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colours of a rainbow. She's Christmas morning. Your mother loves inside your laughter. She's the place you come from, your first home, and she's the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love, she's your first friend, even your first enemy, but noting on earth can separate you. Not time, nor space, not even death. From your Son Ian and Grandsons Geordie and Joe xx
