AlanTHOMPSONof Retford and Dunham-on-Trent 1928 - 2021 Safe in the Loving Arms of Jesus. Passed away peacefully at Bassetlaw Hospital on 6th April, aged 92. Dearly loved husband to Pearl, Father, Grandfather and Friend. Member of the Oasis Church with Pastor Steve Williams, former Church Warden of St Oswald's Church, Dunham-on-Trent and former employee of Retford Electricity Board. A special 'thanks' to Westvilla Nursing Home. Alan's family wish to thank you all for the cards and kind messages of sympathy received. A private funeral service will take place on 26th April at Babworth Crematorium. Family flowers only with donations kindly received for Friends of The Gambia Association and The New Life School in Kanafin, The Gambia in Alan's memory. All funeral enquiries to Co-op Funeralcare, Retford 01777 708870.
