I am so sad to read today that Isobel passed away earlier this year. Campbell was my mother Margaret's dear cousin and he and Isobel were always kind and generous to both my parents, Margaret and Peter Higgins, throughout their lifetime.

My father, Adam Martin, a cousin of Campbell Thomson, migrated to Sydney, Australia in 1928, yet kept in touch with Isobel and Campbell all through the years. My wife, Kathleen and I, Ian Martin had the joy to catch up with Isobel in 2011, and go to her church, the South Parish Church to worship with her. Easy to call her from Sydney but very sad to hear 3 months later that Isobel had passed away. We will miss chatting with her from the other side of the world.

So sad to hear the passing of Isobel, such a loving, generous kind lady when we visited from Australia. Our father Adam Martin was Campbells cousin. Our condolences to her sister Jean & family. May she now Rest In Peace with her loving husband Campbell. David & Beverley Oates née Martin
