To the Towers Family
I was terribly sad to hear of Tony’s passing!
Tony and my Dad have been best friends for over 70 years, and I met Tony over 40 years ago in Bognor.... After he and Wendy moved to Umhlanga in SA, we got to see them every year at Christmas time and we always had a wonderful time with much laughter and Christmas “spirit” flowing!!!!
He will be sorely missed by the Blakebrough family!!
With deepest sympathy
Shane Blakebrough and (Brian & Jackie)

He was my dad from the age of 14 when mine died .Boy I gave him a hard time through my teenage years ! But he always believed in me and supported me in all my good and bad decisions . He was so proud when I qualified as a nurse at the Royal Masonic Hospital being a freemason himself he got me a place to train there. He was the best grandad or Bom Bom as he was known to all as my eldest couldn't say grandpa. I was privileged to be able to nurse him to the end of his life in his own home with the support of so many wonderful people. Thank you Chloe Topaz Tony Don Ant Joe Sue Kim G Sonia Eric Val Terry Margaret Ken and Tracey who was especially fabulous thank you Vicky for the wine in my moment of need and Carolyn for the unexpected visit and all the amazing staff at St Barnabas Marie Curie Nettleham District Nurse and carer teams from Prestige and LJM and Dr Opudo who got things moving so quickly and was such a support .Also thank you to Jo Kerry and
