Wanda’s support to the Friends of the ORP Blyskawica Society throughout the years was invaluable. Her published records relating to ORP Blyskawica familiarised so many to those times when Poland and Great Britain worked together in multinational cooperation and in war. Her work as a naval historian are greatly valued and her support to the Friends of the ORP Blyskawica Society since its formation in 1997 aided greatly in maintaining and strengthening those Anglo Polish relationships which the Isle of Wight continues to value so much today.
As a person, she was most warm and engaging and, for my part, I was honoured and blessed, like so many others, to have known her and been fortunate to have been but a small part of such a greatly fulfilled life.
