It is with great sadness that we heard of Gordon's passing. He was not only a family member but also a friend. His mild mannered, generous nature which made everyone who kept his company feel at ease and welcome is a memory we shall cherish always. He was a good, all round descent human being and it was a privilege to know him. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family. He is gone but will never be forgotten.

With love & prayers

Nick, Nicki, Emily, Amy, Kimberley, John & Sylvia xxx

What a blessing it has been to call Gordon my grandad.

He was a true gentleman and was the kindest man I have ever met and no doubt ever will.

He was one-of-a-kind, with limitless generosity. He always made me feel like I was the most important person in the room, he did that for all of his grandchildren. We were always his priority and that was ever evident, he was our greatest supporter.

He had an incredible heart and spirit. He was enthusiastic when it came to his joke telling which always made us groan and laugh. He had a great sense of humour.

We are the luckiest family, to have been able to call you ours.

Love you forever, Grandad
Until we meet again xxx

Uncle Gord,
Butler E Stand, watching the game with a pie and soup. Geoff Scott's goal against Liverpool.
But besides those things, the kindest, most engaging, perfect gent I have ever known. I learnt so many wonderful things from you that stay with me now.
One day I hope to be on a Scalextric track with you.

Rest easy
Rob.
