Michael JohnTURNEROf Smalley, passed away suddenly on Tuesday 26th July 2022, aged 81 years Mick was born and bred in Denby and was formerly a wicket keeper, past President and stalwart of Denby Cricket Club for many years. He was a widower, after his beloved wife Carol died three years ago Dearly loved son of David and loved brother of Gordon and Peter, close family and friends. The funeral service took place on Thursday 18th August at Amber Valley Crematorium The family would like to thank all who attended Mick's funeral, with special thanks to Gillotts Funeral Directors of Heanor for their professionalism Mick will be sadly missed
