Raymond JohnVAUGHAN (Ray)Ray 4.4.1952 - 26.7.2021 aged 69. Ray passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully at Lincoln County Hospital. Ray was a loving family man, married to Carol for 40 years, he was a father and grandad. He was known for always giving his best to any task that was given to him, this included the football team he managed many years ago - SSPP Celtic. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends in England and Ireland who admired him and his great kindness. Ray will be received in St. Peter & St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Skellingthorpe Road, Lincoln, LN6 7RB on Monday 9th August at 6 pm from his home address. Requiem Mass to be held on Tuesday 10th August at 12 noon followed by a private cremation service. R.I.P. A retiring collection in memory of Ray will be for CAFOD, further enquiries to Pat Cook Funeral Services, 156 Burton Road, Lincoln, LN1 3LS, tel 01522 522881. There will be a gathering after the mass for Ray which everyone will be welcome to attend while the private cremation service is taking place where there will be a book of remembrance for people to note their personal memories of Ray.
