George BrianVICKERSSadly, on 17th October 2023, with his loving wife Herma and son James by his side, Brian passed away. A devoted and dearly loved husband of Herma, a loving father of James, Martin and Alison, and father-in-law to Julie, Jan and Mick, a cherished grandad of Emma, James, Tom, Gina, Carla, Madelaine, Ben and Christopher, a treasured great grandad of William, Joshua, Lucy, Isobel, Olivia and Penelope. Brian was also the loving brother of Margaret, brother-in-law to George and Arend, uncle to Nicola, Rohan and Saskia, and a good friend to many. He will be sadly missed.

A celebration of Brian's life will take place at Grimsby Crematorium on Thursday 16th November 2023 at 3pm.

Floral tributes may be sent to: Co-op Funeralcare, 55 Abbey Road, Grimsby, DN32 0HN If so desired donations in Brian's memory for Alzheimer's Society may be sent to: Alzheimer's Society Suite 2, 1st floor East Wing, Plumer House, Tailyour Road, Plymouth, PL6 5DH.

Alternatively, there is also an opportunity to donate to St Andrews Hospice at: St Andrews Hospice, Peaks Lane, Grimsby, DN32 9RP. Donations may be given on the day of the service.

Thank you to all who attended the funeral. It was much appreciated by all his family. Thank you, also, for your kind donations. £400 was raised for charities. 🙏

I am saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I knew both Brian and Herma having worked with them for many years at Grimsby.
Brian was always a jovial character and a pleasure to be acquainted with. I do miss those days.
I send my condolences to Herma and the family at this very sorrowful time.
