Mary AgnesWALDOCK (née Jeffrey)née Jeffrey of Cottenham, passed away peacefully at Addenbrookes Hospital on Tuesday 26th January 2021, aged 93 years. Dearly loved wife of Cyril, much loved mum of Ian, Lois and Trevor and a dear nanna and great nanna. Mary will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Private Funeral Service at Cambridge City Crematorium. Donations, if desired, made payable to Alzheimer's Research Trust may be sent c/o R. J. Dear Waldock family. I remember Mrs Waldock being such a lovely dinner lady at Cottenham Junior school in the seventies. She always held our hands and we always felt cared for by her. She was always kind and wiped away our tears when we fell over or had a problem in the playground. I have only fond memories of her. A truly nice lady.
How very strange that I was about her only the other day. and my time in Cottenham too.
