Doreen LilianWEEKSQueenie Doreen Lilian Weeks (Queenie), aged 105, known to generations of Bristol schoolchildren as Miss Weeks, Doreen taught at Henbury C of E School for many years before becoming Deputy Head of Henbury Court Junior Mixed School from 1955 to 1972 introducing children to the joys of music-making in choirs and orchestras. Her warmth, her smile and the twinkle in her eye means she was a loved aunt, sister, teacher and friend. Her funeral is on Thursday, December 20th at 3.00pm in Canford Crematorium.
