Alan JohnWHEELDONPeacefully on June 25th 2022 at the Douglas Macmillan Hospice with his wife by his side, Alan aged 72 years of Trentham. Much loved husband of Janet, treasured dad of Iain and David, dear father-in-law of Denise and Lucy, cherished grandad of Ellie, Nat, Issy and Sienna, precious son of Tilly and the late Alan, special brother of Gary and a loving brother-in-law and uncle. Alan will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all his family and friends and especially Nick. Funeral service will take place at Carmountside Crematorium on Monday July 18th at 11.00am. Will relatives and friends kindly meet at Carmountisde. Family flowers only please, donations if desired for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. Donations and enquiries to Birch House, Birches Head Road, Hanley, ST1 6LH. Tel. 01782 212880.

I was so shocked and saddened by the passing of Alan.
My thoughts and prayers are with all the family.
I worked with Alan for 30 years and anyone will tell you what a lovely guy he was.it was a pleasure to have known him.
