David RobertWILSON(Funeral Director, Frank Stephenson & Son Verger at York Minster, one time Head Virger of Beverley Minster, Dean's Virger of St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle). Passed peacefully at the Queen's Centre Castle Hill Hospital on Sunday 1st August 2021 aged 64 years. Much loved and devoted dad to Adam and his fiancee Natalie, a loving brother to Peter and best friend to David, a dear friend, mentor, colleague and a support to many over the years. A private family funeral service to take place. All are welcome to attend a Memorial Service at Beverley Minster on Saturday 9th October 2021, 3.00pm. Donations welcome for Pancreatic Research UK.

As someone who had the privilege of working with David it saddens me greatly that he has left us all too early. He was caring, compassionate, empathetic and a true gentleman.
Heaven has gained an Angel and I will miss you very much David.
