Dear Granny, Thank you for all those idyllic childhood holidays. As an adult I am even more impressed that you & Grandad would take 3 young children for whole weeks at a time. I have many vivid memories of the love and security given, days trips to Twycross Zoo, Markeaton Abbey, walks in the hills and SO many hearty picnics (a tradition I maintained with my own family). Even after I moved so far away you were game to travel all the way over to the other side of the world (thanks Robin) at 80+ and share similar experiences with my own children. You will be dearly missed Great Granny Barbara xxxxxxxxxx
