ValerieWOODHEADValerie passed away peacefully on Monday, 21st April 2025, aged 89 years.

Beloved mother of Donna and Michelle, cherished Mama of the late Katy, and of Miles, Nick, Beth, Mattie, Chris and Ashley. Much-loved great-grand-Mama to Bella, Alaia and Valentina. Dear sister to the late Pearl, the late June, the late Cynthia, Christine and the late Angela. Loving mother-in-law to Simon, Pat and Peter.

She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

A private funeral will be held with immediate family only, in accordance with her and the family's wishes.

The family are grateful for the love and support shown during this time. In lieu of flowers, donations in Valerie's memory can be made to the Stroke Association UK, supporting their vital work with stroke survivors and their families. Valerie was full of glamour, laughter, and wit. Always asking for the latest drama, always ready with advice whether it was about my makeup, my hair, or my love life. She made me smile, and I’ll never forget her sparkle. She truly was one of a kind. And she will be missed. Xx
