I only knew Richard online through a writer's group. His joy for creating new characters and new storylines was palpable, along with his enthusiastic commentary on popular culture and matters of spirituality. He also struck me as a man of incredible depth and intelligence; he was fiercely protective of his online peers; and there was an inspiring gentleness and civility associated with his wisdom and critiques. He will be greatly missed. Blessings from Gallifrey, my friend.
