Sorry to hear the news which only just picked up on. My wife an I once met Geoffrey in Hants when he was off on one of his ski trips having previously met in Yorkshire to discuss family history matters over tea in the garden. Subsequently we corresponded. He was always most helpful on my family history queries. I only emailed him a few weeks ago with a family history problem and was concerned that I had not heard back.
