ChristineYORK (Chris)Chris Passed away peacefully on Friday 8th May 2020. Beloved wife of the late Tony, devoted mum to Marianne and Mark, caring mother in law to Paul and Kirsty, cherished nanna to Danielle, Elliott, Ashley, Natalie, Holly and Bobby, a special great nanna Benji to Jacob and Joshua, a good friend to many and a loyal Derby supporter. You were so loved and will be so missed. Sadly, due to the current circumstances there will be a private service at Bretby Crematorium on Thursday 21st May 2020 at 9.45am for close family only. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Chris are welcome for the NHS and can be made online. The family would appreciate any comforting messages or memories you have of Christine to be left on www.funeral-notices.co.uk for them to share. Rest in Peace. We were very fond of Chris, living near to her for nearly 30 years. Happy memories of her at all Elliott and Danielle's celebrations as well as her love of her dog Benji and our Alfie.

Even since my mum passed away Christine has looked out for my father particularly late at night when he walked back from our house. She was a lovely person who would do anything for anyone and I shall miss our chats on the High Street. Rest in Peace.
