  • We know funeral directors handle donations differently, we have listened to your feedback and have added this option to give you a choice in how you handle your donations.
  • Whichever process you use for collecting charitable donations, doesn’t have to change, by adding the charitable donation to the notice, it gives families the opportunity to raise more money for their chosen charity by giving an online option to make donations.
  • Not everyone can attend a funeral, not everyone carries cash, so by choosing to add the charitable donations option to your notice it helps to maximise donations
  • The donation option is available on any main notice you place with us and is simple to use.
  • There is no need for any extra work, you can simply add the online charitable donation in a few clicks at the point of booking *free of charge.
  • For every online donation made, we have the added benefit of allowing the customer to choose Gift Aid which has the potential to increase donations by 25%.
  • The donation is closed after an 8 week period, at this point you will be emailed the full list of donations made. The money will be sent directly to the charity and you will receive a letter from the charity which you can forward to your families.
  • (Unrecognised charities can be selected at the point of booking, such as Memorial Bench - we will contact you after 8 weeks to confirm monies raised and send to you, the funeral director).

  • Remember all the money raised will be sent directly to the charities, unless you choose a unregistered cause and those funds will come directly to you.
  • You can also add the money raised at the funeral directly to the online fund yourself, saving the family the hassle of trying to do it themselves.
