BarbaraPOMEROYPeacefully at home on 31st March 2013 (born 14.03.1925) and wife of the late Michael Pomeroy. A loved and respected District Nurse, Midwife and Mothercraft Sister, latterly of Bellshill Maternity Hospital. More recently, an enthusiastic member of the Heiton Writers’ Group. Family and friends will remember her for the dedication to her profession and family, the open-heartedness and ability to prepare a feast from nothing,her selflessness, but more importantly her unconditional love for us all. Family flowers only – donations to Operation Smile, supporting children with cleft palates, gratefully received. Service at South Lanarkshire Crematorium 8th of April 2013 at 1.15pm.
