Gerard GeoffBUCKLEBUCKLE Gerard (Geoff) It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce Gerard has passed peacefully away, surrounded by his dear family at home, on 15th June aged 69 years, following a battle with Motor Neurone Disease. Devoted husband of Zena, loving and proud father of Mark and Lynsey, son-in-law Taff, and a wonderful Daddad to Dylan. Caring son-in-law to Joyce and the late Pete, treasured brother-in-law to Anne, Jan and Richard, Uncle to Darren, Shaun, Lizzie and Tom, good friend and neighbour to many. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Due to the current Covid situation a private family funeral will be taking place at Grimsby Crematorium on 3rd July 2020 at 3.45pm. You are more than welcome to stand outside the Crematorium adhering to social distancing measures to pay your last respects. For those who are unable to attend the crematorium, we will be departing his home at 3.00pm to travel along the A16 and passing though New Waltham at approx. 3.20pm should you wish to pay your respects there. Gerard is now resting at Kettles Funeral Home, Louth where floral tributes can be sent or, if desired, donations to The Motor Neurone Disease Association may be sent directly to the Charity or through Just Giving at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/gerardbuckle All enquiries to Kettle Funeralcare, 110 Kidgate Louth, LN11 9BX or 01507 600710
