It was with great sadness that I learnt that Franklin had passed away last month. I have worked with Franklin in various roles since 1996 and always found him to be one of most gentle, kind, considerate and professional individuals I have ever had the pleasure to work with. My thoughts and best wishes are with his family and close friend at this time. Rest in Peace Franklin 🙏

Franklin was the most kind, considerate and gentle man you could possibly meet with a great knowledge and insight of Leeds and its communities and he always wanted to do the best for the city and its residents. He will be missed greatly by myself, many colleagues across the Council and beyond.

Franklin was a kind, calm and intelligent man who always seemed to know just what to do to make the right things happen to support communities across Leeds, particularly those most in need. I trusted his judgement 100% and was so looking forward to working with him in the Regeneration Team. He will be really missed by me and so many other across the Council and city.

Franklin was one of the best people I've worked with. He was very caring, conscientious and socially aware wanting to do his best to improve Leeds. He took me under his wing when I arrived in Leeds from London. I'll always appreciate that and the friendship we enjoyed. RIP Franklin
