Dear Sylvia,
We thank the Lord for the privilege we have had to be part of your life for the past 10 years! Thank you for your wise counseling and for always reminding and teaching us about God's unconditional love, faithfulness, provision and grace. Thank you for meticulously proofreading our Newsletters and for the difference you have made in the lives of so many, many young people and families in New Zealand.
We will always cherish the wonderful times we have had together: exploring a variety of places for dinner all over Albany, enjoying and appreciating a good movie, visiting all the wonderful places in New Zealand, reminding you of Shek and Wendy, the big move to Settlers, packing for the UK and much more.
We will certainly miss you but we have peace knowing that you are now with the Lord, Shek, Wendy and all your other loved ones.
We will honour our commitment of visiting Shek and Wendy's memorials annually on Wendy's birthday.
In loving memory.
William & Elizabeth van Rensburg, grandchildren (Alicia, Steffan, Stanley & Emily-Jane) and the Eden Christian Academy community.

Dear Sylvia,
We are very thankful that we could have you as our friend in our journey through life. We are thankful for your kindness, hospitality and generosity whenever we meet up with you in Hong Kong or New Zealand, and how you were a model of faith in Jesus Christ for each of us and for others. Charles always thought you were a wonderful doctor and still remembers how you healed him after he had coughed for several months. He had always been impressed by the fact that you came first in your class in Hong Kong University Medical School. It was a blessing for us (Rosemarie and Charles) when we visited Beverley in July, 2019, and managed to spend time with you. Although you have now left us, we are comforted that you are with our Father in Heaven, and with Shek and Wendy. Our Father must be pleased with your witness for Christ on earth and that your time had been well spent. We will miss you very much, but we are certain that our Father, in His mercy and grace will let us meet again sometime in the future.
With much love from the Ip family in Hong Kong - Rosemarie, Charles and Uncle Ip Chi Chiu.

Thank you Mum for sharing your life with me, especially over the last few years. It's been a privilege to be able to take care of you for a little while... you've been such an independent woman! Although you had accomplished so much in life, I know you would say your greatest achievement was to do what God wanted you to do. May God rest your soul. Love from us all, Janice, James, Peter, Matthew (& Brett 🐶)xx
