Rt Rev Monsignor Charles CanonHENDRYPeacefully in Perth Royal Infirmary on Thursday 30th April 2020, the Right Rev Mgr Charles Canon Hendry, parish priest of St Mary Magdalene's Church Perth, fortified by the rites of Holy Mother Church. Much loved brother of Tom and the late Gerry and brother-in-law to Vina, and his many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by many friends and current and former parishioners, and his brother priests. Graveside funeral service and interment private due to current restrictions.

May he rest in the arms of angels. He baptised me, gave me my first confession and communion, then welcomed me back to the church after years of lapse. My most sincere condolences to all who loved him.
