JockPURDIEOn 4th December 2019, peacefully in Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary, Angus John (Jock) Purdie, Invergowrie, Cotton Street, Castle Douglas. Loving husband and best friend of Wilma, proud and loving dad of Lorna and Joan, much loved by all his family. Following a private cremation, a Service of Thanksgiving for his life will take place on Wednesday 18th December in Castle Douglas Parish Church at 12.30pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited to attend. Should you so wish, 'A Touch of Tartan' would be appropriate and there will be a retiring offering for Castle Douglas Civic Week and Castle Douglas Day Centre.
