With two decades of experience in the funeral industry, Steven Stewart holds The National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) Diploma and the British Institute of Embalmers (BIE) Diploma. Steven was the Chairman of The Scottish Division of the BIE having previously been the Treasurer of the Scottish Division of the BIE.
Our company has recently moved into purpose built premises, which are situated in the heart of Cupar at 15 Provost Wynd, KY15 5HE, (which were once used by the Howe of Fife Rugby Club) The new premises has its own private car park for its clients to use.
Fully redecorated to provide a serene yet welcoming environment, the premises now offer what could be described as a 'one stop shop' for funerals, with a service room with seating for 52 people; a quiet, two-room viewing suite and even a fully-licensed function suite that can accommodate 110.
Situated upstairs, the function facilities are available for use by local community groups as well as for celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries.
Of course, losing a loved one is probably one of the most distressing events anyone has to face, and it can be difficult to know where to start when it comes to making the necessary arrangements.
But as the only Independent Family Owned Funeral Directors in the Cupar and St Andrews areas, Steven has experience and local knowledge to guide you through the process as smoothly as possible.
A well-known member of the local community himself, he has a wide network of contacts, from florists to house clearers, so can help make life a little easier at such a difficult time.
