Colin learnt his trade at Blackburn’s Funeral Service in Broadstairs with the late Mr Geoffrey Love and now has over 33 years’ experience in the funeral industry. After Mr Love’s retirement, Blackburn’s became part of the Dignity group but Colin felt that his heart stayed with the independent way of working and has now branched out on his own – Colin Lockitt Funeral Services.
Covering the areas of Thanet, Deal, Dover and Folkstone, Colin is able to offer all clients a truly personal and individual service, including making funeral arrangements within the home environment as standard. br> Over the years many of Colin’s clients have become personal friends and whilst he enjoys meeting them all again on a social basis, part of life means that sometimes the professional side must step in and help.
