My partner in crime as a child. The big brother who taught me to stand up for myself but then denied all knowledge of me when I would shout ‘Hi Paul’ across the play ground in Ian Ramsey school.
The pure embarrassment of his little sister now being in the same school just wasn’t cool.
However, he was soon there to protect me against the bullies that came my way, along with his lifelong friend and partner in crime Julian Perkins.
Whilst not related by blood, Ju became a big brother to me and Kelly too.
Paul was cheeky, he was funny, he was idiot at times, but that was Paul.
The Paul we loved, the Paul we will continue to love.
Life came with its challenges for us all, but I remained there silently in the background to help and support him in times of trouble.
Sadly those challenges became too much for him to handle and he left this world to end his suffering.
I’m doing so he left a hole in so many hearts.
You will never be forgotten. 💕 xx
