George Leslie JohnDAVISLegion d'Honneur Soldier (7 PARA - Pegasus Bridge relief), Teacher, Wine Importer Passed away peacefully at home on 27 March aged 96, joining Erika his beloved wife of 58 years (d 2005). Sadly missed by Kay, his partner, children Pamela, Michael and Dominique, Douglas and Clare, and his grandchildren Alexandre, Roseanna and Sadie, and many friends. With thanks to the Underwood Surgery and Cheltenham Hospital for their care over the years. Private funeral, family flowers only, donations gratefully received for Sue Ryder c/o Selim Smith, 74 Prestbury Rd, Cheltenham A celebration of his long and full life will take place when conditions permit.
