I also enjoyed the teaching and the gentle charm of both Dr Glanville and Professor Jones 1969 -72. It was another time then. My best wishes to their families. Pip Kings

Even more belatedly, but I also had the privilege of being taught Classics by Dr. Glanville & Prof. Jones at Westfield many years back. I remember not only their deep knowledge, but also their kindliness to us wet-behind-the-ears students.

I had the great privilege of being a Latin student at Westfield, being taught by both Dr Glanville and her husband Professor Jones. My thoughts and grateful best wishes to their families, late though it may be. We shall not see their like again.
