Dearest Dad
A gentle man who taught me
how simple life can be
Now we have been parted
you have become a cherished memory
But your love will live forever
In our hearts and in our minds
We will never forget your love
So simple, so pure, so kind
God Bless
Love you always
John, Susan & Glenn

I knew Gordon 17 years - a brief time during his 84 years on this earth. In that time he became "Gordo" my friend and eventually my father in law. We both shared a love of horse racing and he was treated to a surprise 80th birthday weekend at the Grand National. Gordo's first love was snooker and we enjoyed the Welsh Open snooker final in 2020 - weeks before the first lockdown. So glad he had those memories in his later years. As I said, I only knew Gordo for a small part of his life, but I will love and remember him for the rest of mine.
God bless
