Bryer and Sons) Suddenly on Sunday April 28 at his home at Dryslwyn, Alan; loving husband of Heulwen, much loved father of Simon, Alison, Jessica and Paul, respected father-in-law of Carys, Wayne and Mark and devoted grandfather of Elen, Ffion, Oliver, Morgan and Evie. Funeral on Tuesday May 7, service for family and friends at St Mary's Church, Cwrt Henri at 1pm followed by private interment at St Cathen's Churchyard, Llangathen. No flowers please, donations in lieu, if so desired, to the British Heart Foundation kindly received by Hywel Griffiths & Sons, Funeral Directors, Bwtrimawr, 39 Betws Rd, Betws, Ammanford. SA18 2HE.

The chat that will now never happen.


I have been trying to talk to Alan for about 2 weeks now, I would ring his mobile and couldn't get through. Maybe he's on holiday. I rang Eynon Price and was shocked to learn Alan had died of a heart attack. We will never have that chat about MX5 racing ever again. A sad reminder that life can't be taken for granted....Paul & Abbie Eaton x
