ValerieDONOVAN (Nee Bowen)Nee Bowen Born Abertridwr 1943. Passed away peacefully at UHW, Cardiff, with family beside her, on 27th July 2019 after suffering a long illness, bravely borne with grace and fortitude. A much loved wife of Michael for 53 years and cherished mother of Allister and Abigail. Beloved grandmother of Jack, Isabelle, Olivia, Emily, Daniel and a special mother-in-law to Marcia and Gareth. Val will be sadly missed by all who knew her as a kind and loving person. Resting at Cooperative Funeral Home, Pontygwindy Road, Caerphilly, until the Requiem Mass at Saint Helen's Church, Caerphilly, 20th August at 12.30pm, followed by Committal at Thornhill Crematorium, 1.45pm. Family flowers only by request. Donations in lieu may be given on the day in Val's memory to Bloodwise or Cancer Research UK.

What A lovely lady Val.
Always happy, friendly and very caring and loving.
