I was so sorry to hear of Christine's sad passing. Unfortunately I don't go down to Glynneath since my mother passed away in 1995, so I only hear news of the village if I bump into someone from there, who passes news on to me. Sadly, no-one told me that Chris had passed over. I've not seen her for a very long time, but was very happy to call her a valued friend years ago. She, myself and Mary Whitelaw always got along brilliantly. I was aware that she lived in a cottage in Maes-y-pergwm, and that she was an excellent artist, but was given to believe she lived her life as a loner. I have two of her paintings, and they are lovely. I would like the family to take my late but heartfelt condolences. I shall always think of the many funny times we spent as a small group all those years ago. God bless you Christine. XXX
