JoanKENURESadly, after a short illness Joan passed away peacefully on the 4th of September at Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend. She is deeply missed by her children Mark and Michelle, Sister Anne, brothers-in-law John and James, son-in-law Steve, nieces Rebecca and Claire and dear friends and neighbours Gill, Nicola, Andrew and their children, Cathy and David and their children. Joan will be fondly remembered by many, many people. She also made many friends and admirers while in hospital. Her consultant Mr George Nestoridis was extremely kind towards her. Resting at J.Pidgeon & Son, 539 Cowbridge Road East, Victoria Park, Cardiff (02920 226604) until the service at Coychurch Crematorium on Tuesday 24th September at 2.15pm. Joan was clear in her wishes for the occasion to be a celebration. Informal attire is the order of the day. It would also be much appreciated if those attending could wear or carry something blue, Joan's favourite colour. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Princess of Wales Hospital in Ward 8. The family ask for no flowers and any donations should be made to the charity Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis (OMS), 4 Thame House, Thame Rd, Haddenham, Aylesbury HP17 8HU.
