William Ronald (ROY)DAVIESROY Sadly passed away on Saturday 27th June 2020 at Morriston Hospital, aged 94 years. Beloved Husband of the late Pat and the late Megan. Cherished Father of Clive & Vanessa. Respected father in law of Maralyn & Mike. Loving Grampa to Tracy, Lisa, Chris, Johnny, Leanne & the late Craig and their partners Jon, Kirsty, Hayley & Tim. Proud Great Grampa to Thomas, Callan, Emily, Megan & Kyle. Roy will be sadly missed by all who knew him. A private funeral service is to take place on Friday 10th July in Margam Crematorium at 2pm. Roy will take his final journey from the funeral home at 1.40pm directly to the crematorium and those wishing to pay their respects to him may do so along Margam Road. Family flowers only please. Sunset & evening star, and one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar, when I put out to sea, but such a tide as moving seems asleep.
Too full for sound & foam, when that which drew from out thee boundless deep.
Turns again home.
Twilight & evening Bell, and after that the dark!
And may there be no sadness of farewell when I embark,
for tho'from out our Bourne of time & place
The flood may bear me far I hope to see my pilot face to face when I have crossed the bar!
