Elizabeth MaryEVANS"Betty" passed away peacefully after a short illness on the 15th March 2020 at Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth, aged 94 years. Devoted Wife of David, loving Mother to Christopher, Robert and Peter, a much loved Grandmother to Gregory, Sophie, Nicolas, Rhian, Tirion and Oliver, beloved sister of Roy Johnson. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Funeral service to be held on Friday 3rd April at the Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill Crematorium. Due to the coronavirus outbreak, this service will now be family only. Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired can be given in aid of the NSPCC and Marie Curie. Thinking about you all, my mother had many games of bridge and golf with Betty, she was a lovely, kind lady. From the Long family. Mum and dad lived in 10 Brynawelon .

On behalf of The Military Whist Group at Cardiff Golf Club please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of your dear Wife and Mother.

Betty was a faithful member of the group for so many years and so appreciative to us for arranging the evenings.

May God bless you David, and your family at this very sad time.

Under normal circumstances we would attend the funeral but we will be thinking of you on Friday.
