David Maclean DemetriusEVANSRetired Consultant Pathologist at Llandough Hospital Passed away peacefully on 12th October 2020 aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty". Much loved father to Robert, Christopher and Peter and father-in-law to Linda, Helen and Jo. Devoted grandfather to Greg, Sophie, Nic, Rhian, Tiri and Oli. David will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. A private family service will be held. I had many happy years working with David at Llandough hospital where as well as a fruitful working relationship we had many of the same interests that led to enjoyable discussions. After his retirement we continue to meet at Cardiff Golf Club. I always admired his determination to keep playing and I regret that it is in my year as captain that he died. One of the many things that we shared was that we had been to the same schooling although no contemporaries we could swap stories about some of our mutual teachers. I will miss him a lot and offer you all my sincere condolences.
