I remember you at school Mark, always running through the corridors, was so great to see you as a landlord at the Smiths, the community will greatly miss yours & your family's welcome to everyone who enjoyed and takes away a happy memory of a pub that was at the heart of Neath Abbey & its community. We are all so sorry for your loss.

Mark, My endearing memory of your smiling face is whilst collecting our children from school. A regular ten minute chat, always including how proud we were of our lads. It never failed to ensure smiles on the faces of us all, as we all harboured the same thought. The school gate is a great place to initially meet and Mark loved a chat, his invites to call to his pub were always warm and welcoming. On the occasions that I and sometimes Joanne were able to call we surely enjoyed and were spoilt. So RIP Mark, a good, good man has left us. Our love, deepest sympathy and kind thoughts to all of Marks family, from Joanne, Lawrence, Joseph & all our family at No.20.
