Alfa Maynard (Blacksmith/Welder - Formerly of the Mardy Works Gorseinon Group of Works and Velindre)LEWIS CSTJ (Mayn)Mayn Blacksmith/Welder - Formerly of the Mardy Works Gorseinon Group of Works and Velindre Sadly, after suffering ill health for many years, Maynard, aged 92 years, of Loughor Common, passed peacefully away in Morriston Hospital on 1st February, 2020. Beloved and adored Husband of Ruth. Much loved Father of Andrew and the late Janet. Cherished Gramps of Ian and the late Robert. Doting Great-Grampa of Jessica, Kian, Ioan and Joshua. A wonderful brother to Hilda and the late Tilly, Roy and Myra. Much thought of Uncle by his nieces and nephews. Maynard will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the greater family of St. John to which he gave over half a century of dedication and all who knew him. Funeral service to be held on Friday, 21st February, in Penuel Chapel, Glebe Road, Loughor at 11.30 am followed by cremation at Llanelli Crematorium at 1.00 pm. Immediate family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Maynard, if so desired, may be made to St. John Cymru Wales (Eye Hospital) (cheques only please) c/o Anthony Inkin & Paul Deans Privately Owned Funeral Directors.
