RIP Grandad
You were the grandad that I could always go to, no matter the time or circumstance or how trivial my need was. You always were there to help. Even when struggling with your health you’d always be there for everyone-All you cared about were other people’s needs and it was felt and admired by everyone. Yesterday was your funeral and the whole of Waverley Lane was full of people stood outside their homes, paying their respects to you. It showed how much you meant to everyone.
Now you’re no longer here I want you to know that I miss you dearly. You were so important, so wanted. Simply the best.
I never had the chance to say thank you for everything. For always being there, for always wanting the best for me and for being the greatest grandad to Me, Leonie, Lara and Rebecca could ever dream of and the Great Grandad Jake, Noah, Sophie and Nancy would have always hoped for.
I’ll forever miss our silly texts, our banter, watching football together and catching up over a pint. As we said to each other recently - You were one of the lads.
I promise that we’ll all look after each other, we’ll take care of Nan and that we’ll make you proud. I love you and I am in pain.
Love you always, Craig xxxx
