BettyNICHOLSON (Elizabeth Mary, nee Sheriff)Elizabeth Mary, nee Sheriff North Shields Slept peacefully away on May 2nd 2019, sixteen days before her 94th Birthday. Devoted wife of the late John and loving Mother to Mary and Anthony. Mother in law to Dave and Lynn. Treasured Grandma and Great Grandma to John, Andrea, Laura, Katie, David, Kate, Sarah, Ivie, Ada and Poppi. Eldest sister of the five Sheriff Girls of Birtley, will be greatly missed by family, friends and neighbours.To be received into St Cuthbert's RC Parish Church, Albion Road West, North Shields at 7pm on 17th May 2019. Requiem Mass at 10am on 18th May 2019, followed by burial at Preston Cemetery. All welcome for refreshments afterwards at Percy Park Rugby Club, Preston Avenue, NE30 2BE. No flowers please. A collection will be made on the day if you wish or money in lieu to Maggie's and Target Ovarian Cancer via The Sarah Nicholson Just Giving Crowd Funding Page: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/sarahsovaryaction Rest In Peace

We loved meeting and spending time with Betty on our visits to the family in Whitley Bay and North Shields. Such a happy, vibrant lady. We pray God's peace, comfort and blessings to the family.
