Vince was an incredibly talented man who I am lucky enough to have known and worked with twice:

First time was in 1994 when he & I were both employed by Swire Renshaw Insurance Brokers in Huddersfield, although he had somewhat more hair back in those days.

I was his team leader when he joined us and I don’t think I could have recommended a better person for the job. Vince’s ability and knowledge was widely known & accepted and remarked on by many people I know in the insurance industry.

I am proud to have had Vince as a valued team member and friend. He was a man on whom I could often rely in work, and a friend and confidant with whom I enjoyed many a pint & quiz session in the pub.

Goodbye my friend. You will be missed.

Charles

I will miss Vince for many reasons but mainly for him shouting at me when we were playing the quiz machine in the Editors whilst enjoying a pint. I always pressed the answer before he had chance to read the question.......and then usually got it wrong!!!! Rest in Peace Vince, sending love and thoughts to Steph and the family at this difficult time xxx
