LucilleIFFLAIt is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Lucille Iffla on Saturday 23rd May 2020 after a short illness. In 1951, Lucille and her two young children travelled from Jamaica to Scotland to join her husband, Irvin Iffla, Stirling County's new professional cricketer. Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and true friend to many, Lucille was the matriarch and guiding light of the Iffla family. She took Stirling and it's people to her heart and was greatly loved. Lucille's smile was like Jamaican sunshine and warmed many hearts. She will be mourned by all who knew her. Due to the current restrictions the funeral will be attended by close family only on Friday 5th June 2020. Donations if desired can be made to marysmeals.org.uk.

I knew her from the day she came . A most charming lady with the biggest friendliest smile that you ever saw . Straight away she brought her family into the heart of the St Ninians community, where it remained, and still does .
