MarieHALLSHALLS (nee Empson) Marie. Aged 61 years. The devoted wife of Graham, ever loving mother of Emma, Kate and Peter, much loved gran of Ben, Luke, Humphrey and Henrietta, mother-in-law of Mark, Matthew and Katy, beloved daughter of Beryl and brothers Nigel and Richard. Marie's smile melted our hearts and was an inspiration to us all, her positive attitude conquered many previous health problems but lost the short fight against cancer and passed peacefully away on Friday December 16th at the Nightingale Macmillan Continuing Care Unit. Marie will be sadly missed by her family and many friends here and overseas but her cheerfulness throughout her ordeal and her ever radiant smile will be with us always. Funeral Wednesday December 28th, service 1pm at St Helens Church, Etwall, followed by cremation at Markeaton Crematorium. (Black dress not necessary). Family flowers only please, donations in lieu made payable to Friends of the Nightingale Macmillan Unit or The Coeliac Society may be sent c/o G Wathall & Son Ltd, 101 Macklin Street, Derby, DE1 1LG.
