We are living a nightmare, to lose the most wonderful granddaughter anyone ever had. Cerys was the kindest most thoughtful person we have ever known. Cerys, a beautiful young woman whose loss to her family I can’t even begin to imagine. She brought fun and patience to our Conyers ladies football training on a Friday evening and didn’t laugh (too much) at the lack of skills shown, mainly by me. Beautiful and brilliant Cerys. You were an outstanding student, a wonderful Head Girl and a powerful role model for all young women. You were the first to tie up your hair and embrace a sporting challenge yet could command a room with your poise, elegance and ability to speak from the heart. I vividly remember your post 16 interview in which we sowed the seeds of the Head Girl ambition, one you fulfilled so well. I still smile about the times I had complete shoe envy including Nicola's wedding this summer. You had an incredible impact on all those you met and will be missed by so many. From that first training session where we met I knew you would be trouble :). I have genuinely never met such am amazing beautiful person who cared for absolutely everyone. Cerys Beth O'Boyle you have brought so much happiness into my life & I don't use the word legend much but you truly are a black & gold legend. I am going to miss our daily WhatsApp or half a face snap chats but I know that you will be looking down on all of us. I hope we are doing you proud. You will always have a special place in my heart.
