Having never had a granddad of my own, it has been a pleasure to vicariously experience by listening to countless stories about Mick as a dad and a granddad. Being present for his send off showed me just how much joy he brought to his family and friends, how much care and love he put into the world and how much it will all be cherished forever more. Mick, I know you have played a huge part in shaping Mike into the generous and gracious man he is. I am grateful for all the happy memories he has of you and that I get to enjoy them too. Rest in peace.
