Everyone say’s they have got the best Grandad but we really have
You used to make us giggle like when you taught us funny songs
And do a funny dance
You taught us to tell the time
From the clock you made years ago
And when we was naughty
You would say you would put us in the garage
When we would sleep in yours
If we woke in the night you would
Let us get in your bed
Our last memory Grandad was on our party
We played catch with the balloons
If any of our toys broke
We would say Grandad will fix it
So stay watching over us
Like you always did
The brightest star in the sky tonight
Is our Grandad saying goodnight
